The French speaking African country of Côte d'Ivoire, or Ivory Coast, has been ravaged by civil war and political unrest since 2002. Thousands of people have been slaughtered and nearly a million have been displaced and reported missing. Many of the people had simply lost hope.

A historical request was made to Dr. LaDonna by an Ivory Coast pastor, Bishop Kouman Odette. The request was historical because it was the first time a woman had organized over 100 of the local pastors to request that Dr. Osborn to come to Abidjan, the capitol of Ivory Coast to impact and heal her nation. Dr. LaDonna gathered her mission team, to bring hope and the Good News of Jesus Christ and to ignite a burning passion for evangelism in the people of Ivory Coast.Â
